Cardinal Title Group is seeking an experienced title professional to join our growing team as an underwriter. The ideal candidate will have prior title underwriting experience and will possess the skills required to conduct a clear and concise real estate settlement. Please note that this role can be a remote position.
Job Functions Include:
Review documentation provided in title examinations to produce title commitments.
Communicate with underwriting counsel and settlement processors to assist with clearing title commitment requirements.
Review and confirm accuracy of premiums collected, recorded documents, and any title clearing documentation to prepare final title insurance policies.
Assist in policy remittance and to underwriters.
Monitor and manage lender requests for follow up documents.
Requirements:
Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Title Producer License
3+ years of title experience preferred
